GHK-Cu + acetyl octapeptide-3 · topical cosmetic serum
Our two best skin peptides in one bottle. GHK-Cu at 2% for collagen and firmness, Snap-8 for expression lines, in a hyaluronic acid base. Two drops morning and night — no needles, nothing to mix.
GlowTox puts the two peptides people already buy from us for their skin into a single serum, at strengths we are willing to print on the label.
GHK-Cu is the copper peptide. It is the one with the real research behind it — it signals the skin to rebuild collagen and elastin, and it is what people mean when they talk about copper peptides for firmness and skin quality. Ours is 2%, which sits at the top of the range used in cosmetic formulation. Most of the serums on the shelf are 1%, and a good number of those are 1% of a diluted trade solution rather than 1% peptide, which works out closer to 0.01%. Ours is 2% of the actual peptide, dosed from raw powder.
Snap-8 is the line-softening one, sometimes called a topical Botox alternative because it works on the same signalling pathway that makes expression lines form. It is not Botox, it does not freeze anything, and it wears off if you stop. What it does is soften the lines you get from moving your face, gradually, over about eight weeks.
The base is hyaluronic acid, which is doing two jobs — it holds water in the skin, and it carries the peptides.
Community convention GHK-Cu has genuine peer-reviewed research behind it for skin. What does not exist is a published dose-response study establishing an optimal topical percentage, so our 2% is chosen from formulation practice rather than from a trial. The Snap-8 percentages quoted online trace to the ingredient supplier's own small study rather than independent trials.
2 drops · Twice daily, morning and night.
This one goes on the skin, not in a syringe. There is nothing to reconstitute and nothing to draw — it arrives ready to use.
Start with 1 drop morning and night for the first week, then 2 drops from week two. The first week is about finding out whether copper peptides suit your skin, not about safety. Two drops twice daily is the top — more serum on the skin does not do more.
| Bottle | What is in it | How to use it |
|---|---|---|
| 50ml bottle | GHK-Cu 2% · Snap-8 0.02% | 2 drops twice daily |
Keep it refrigerated and use it within three months of opening. Apply to clean, dry skin and keep it away from the eye area.
Almost everyone gets nothing at all in the way of a reaction. Copper peptides can sting slightly on freshly exfoliated or broken skin, which is the one thing worth knowing in advance.
