Semax is Russia's other well-loved nootropic peptide — a focus-and-clarity tool built from a fragment of the ACTH hormone, but stripped of the stress-hormone effects. It works mainly by raising BDNF and NGF, the signals that help your brain stay sharp and adaptable.
People describe cleaner focus, better recall, and more mental stamina under pressure — a clear-headed feel with none of the jitters or crash of a stimulant. A neat quirk: the effects seem to outlast its short time in the bloodstream, lingering for hours. It's usually taken in the morning, ideally as a nasal spray, and cycled rather than run non-stop. As with Selank, most human data is Russian-language, so treat it as promising research plus experience.

0.5 mg · Every morning
Most people start straight at 0.5mg (10 units). If you would rather ease in, run 0.25mg (5 units) first — two, three or four weeks, whichever you want — then step up.
That is 10 units on a U-100 insulin syringe — from a 10 mg vial mixed with 2 ml of water, which gives you 5 mg/ml.
Add the water slowly down the inside of the glass and roll it — never shake it. Keep it in the fridge at 2–8 °C once mixed.
